Broadacre Irrigation

Broadacre farming is large scale farming where large tracks of land are used to farm a single crop.  The principle winter crops are wheat, barley, oats, canola and lupins.  The main summer crop is grain sorghum.

Typical broadacre irrigation systems include centre pivot, lateral move and travelling irrigators.  Davey's robust and dependable ISOspec®, whether driven by an electric motor or a diesel engine, 6" borehole submersible pumps and Monsoon pump-sets are ideal for supplying broadacre irrigators.

Proper pump selection is important in order to maximize pump performance, efficiency and service life.  For the right pump selection please consult your local Davey dealer.
