Sales Representative - Dubai, United Arab Emirates 

 

Davey Water Products is one Australia’s leading manufacturers and distributors of pumps and water systems to customers in Australasian and International markets.

We are currently looking for an established and well networked Sales Representative to join our International business to support growth with our project and commercial client base. Primarily in the commercial arenas of building services, irrigation, sports turf, fire water, agricultural, industrial, and manufacturing sectors.

This position will be located in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.


To be successful in this role you will have established commercial relationships with a proven track record of securing commercial projects, contracts, with strategic objectives to new business relationships and streams whilst maintaining and growing an existing client base. You will be sales focused and able to create opportunities and meet sales targets.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Meeting Sales Target Objectives
  • Growing existing business, generating new opportunities and business channels
  • Understanding client needs and product application requirements
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Davey commercial product range, complimentary products, pump sets and services
  • Be familiar with competitor product and offerings, along with market trends and conditions
 

To be successful in this position, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Proven Sales and BDM track record
  • Existing relationships and proven experience in dealing with design consultants and project engineers
  • Strong understanding of the project arena, and project lifecycle, key influencers . . . etc
  • Degree qualified with more than more than 3 years’ experience
  • Experience and understanding of  technical sales application within one or more of the following industries:
    • Industrial Pumps, Plumbing, Irrigation, Commercial Building Services, Commercial Pool, HVAC, Hydraulic/Mechanical Engineering, Processing Plants, Industrial/Manufacturing systems, Food and Beverage Industry, Water Treatment or similar.
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Strong relationship skills
    • A positive “can do attitude”
    • An aptitude for dealing with technically complex product
    • Proven ability for high level technical learning
    • Experience in “solution selling”
    • Excellent time management
    • High level computer literacy
    • Ability to prioritise and work autonomously to meet sales targets
    • A proven track record in the delivery of high quality sales outcomes in a time critical environment
